Blue Pumpkin Nib

A lovely nib which creates a great contrast between fine and thick strokes, the Brause Steno No. 361 is nicknamed the ‘blue pumpkin’ on account of its distinctive blue colour. The perfect nib for metallic inks like finetec or PH Martins iridescent ink.

Care instructions

• When you first receive your nib, there may be a fine coating of oil on it which, if not removed, might affect the performance of the nib. To remove, simply wash gently with warm water and washing up liquid (or stab into a potato!)
• After each use, be sure to remove all traces of ink with warm water and dry thoroughly

Your nib should last you multiple uses. Signs that a nib is ready to be replaced includes poor ink flow and thicker-than-usual upstokes.
